Founded in 1933 for educational, athletic and social activities:

• To advance and conserve hunting and fishing
• To promote the safe usage of firearms and marksmanship
• To aid in the restocking of game fish, birds and animals on the Island
• To encourage the preservation of streams, wildlife, plant life and the prevention of pollution

The Clubhouse and surrounding grounds occupy 42 acres on Vashon Island, WA.

Our mission is to maintain and preserve the unique heritage of the American people. The history of the Vashon Sportsmen’s Club stands as a testament that dedicated people can inspire others to embrace the ideals of sportsmanship, outdoorsmanship, conservation, and general camaraderie.

All people who cherish the historically unique relationship that Americans have enjoyed with the great outdoors will find fun and friendship in our club. Those who wish to learn woods lore, fishing techniques, firearms safety, and hunting skills from experienced people will have found a home at the V.S.C.
