Announcements

  • Bringing a Guest to the Range?  Don’t forget to have them fill out one of our Waiver of Liability/Assumption of Risk forms for their visit and leave the completed form in the collection box located in the Rifle Shelter.  Blank forms can be found in the Rifle Shelter, or can be downloaded here:  Waiver of Liability/Assumption of Risk and Member Conduct form.
  • Range Master Classes – We have implemented a sign up process for attending all Range Master classes. This will enable us to plan accordingly for the number of attendees and have adequate materials. To sign up, please send an email to the general Club email address, vscinfo47@gmail.com. Registration request emails should be done by the Thursday before the class you’re planning on attending. ID Badges should be worn while on Club grounds.
  • Members, If you are not receiving emails from the Club, get on the Club’s mailing list by  sending your email address to vscinfo47@gmail.com.  (MEMBERS ONLY) 
  • Our Club Membership Documents, the “Sponsor Checklist”, “Member Application”, “Liability Waiver/Code of Conduct” and the “Membership and Guest Policy” can be delivered electronically to members who are qualified to sponsor a new member.  Hard copies of these documents are available in the Clubhouse entry foyer, to the left of the inner entry door.
    • Eligibility to sponsor a new member requires current members to have three (3) or more consecutive years as a member in good standing.  All members who qualify as a New Member Sponsor may request these documents by sending an email to vscinfo47@gmail.com.

Upcoming Year 2024 Events and Activities

  • Saturday July 27th – Range Master Class. See the “Classes”, “Range Master Class” page for details.
  • Saturday August 17th – Steel Plate Challenge
    • Registration opens in the Range Parking Lot at 9:00 AM, Shooting commences at 9:45 AM after a Safety Briefing and Demonstration.
    • See the “Events”, “Upcoming Special Events“ page for additional information.
  • Saturday August 17th – Dutch Oven Redneck Cookoff – Starts at Noon, judging commences at 4:00 PM.
  • Saturday August 21st – Work Party to cleanup in preparation for the 8 September Special Rental.
  • Saturday August 24th – Private Rental, Range Open.
  • Sunday September 8th – Special Rental, ALL FACILITIES CLOSED.
  • Saturday September 14th – Food Preservation Canning Workshop in the Clubhouse.
    • Maximum 20 Attendees, $25.00 per person.
    • RSVP Required – Due by September 9th.
